Financial Times Executive MBA ranking 2017

World top 25 for academic expertise and career prospects

In an increasingly competitive market, Henley has achieved strong world, UK and European positions in todayโ€™s Financial Times Executive MBA ranking, most notably achieving world top 25 for a number of criteria relating to career prospects and academic expertise. We are proud to be consistently ranked amongst the top 10 business schools in the UK, and top 20 in Europe.

The Financial Times ranking is a comprehensive guide for prospective MBA students that lists the worldโ€™s top 100 business schools. It covers a range of criteria on careers progress, teaching and content quality to enable comparison of potential institutions and courses.

Alongside learning the foundations of managing a business, dealing with change and further developing leadership skills, personal and professional development is a key area of focus on our Executive MBA programme and continues as a theme throughout the length of study. Our investment and support for students in this area is reflected in these results:

  • Careers progress: 7th in the UK, 14th in Europe & world no. 24
  • Aims achieved: 6th in the UK, 11th in Europe & world no. 20
  • Percentage salary increase: 5th in the UK, 13th in Europe & world no. 32
  • Salary increase (pre-MBA to 3 years post-study): Average 58%

Our deliberately small class sizes enable programme members to share their own work experience, challenges and learning which provides a more relevant study experience to each individual. In addition, different assignments focus on developing current organisational issues and challenges, allowing students to take away contextually relevant knowledge and solutions.

As champions of diversity and helping women to develop their leadership potential, we are also particularly proud to see strong results in this area:

  • Percentage of female faculty: No. 1 in the UK, no. 2 in the World and Europe
  • Percentage of women students: No. 3 in the UK & no. 20 in Europe

We are renowned for our academic and student diversity, which provides our learners with access to a range of insights and knowledge from across the world, different cultures and genders, and adds to the quality of their overall learning experience.

โ€œFor over 70 years, Henley has been empowering business leaders to take on challenges in a fast-changing world with innovation, insight and resilience. Our investment in personal and professional development is clearly reflected by our performance in these world rankings and we are pleased to be recognised for our diversity and our commitment to women in leadership. Henley is proud to deliver a university-level masterโ€™s degree and a powerful Executive MBA experience,โ€ says Annu Matula, Managing Director at Henley Business School Finland.
