Undoubtedly the pandemic has created hardship. It has also created the opportunity for us to rethink work and the workplace in order for us to maximise employee experience and thriving organisations. However, are we jumping to conclusions without understanding the challenge?
With our series ’Leading Healthy and Productive Post-Pandemic Workplaces – What are we missing?’, we want to get a grip on the right questions that allow to lead and enable great practice for healthy and productive post pandemic workplaces. What do healthy workplaces of the future look like? How do we use technology to support collaborative and productive working? What type of leadership do we need?
To uncover the right questions, we take personal, organisational and workplace factors into consideration when thinking about how to practically create a healthy and productive work life in organisations that succeed.
The event
Many spoke about a crisis of leadership before the pandemic. The pandemic made us see known leadership practices thrive or falter. Organisations had to tap into novel leadership practices at pace and at large. Now is the time to consider what is next for Post-Pandemic Healthy Leadership. Shall leadership go back to the familiar pre pandemic approach? Which of the novel and re-discovered leadership practices from the pandemic should we treasure or definitely forget?
In this accelerator lab webinar, we take the opportunity and ask even bolder questions: What should be markers of leadership quality in organisations overall? We need to revisit what impact day to day leadership should really have on individuals, teams, organisations and society overall. Finally, has leadership development helped or hindered organisations’ response to the pandemic? If not now, when is the right time to push this?
