How can you be a better coach in managing personal data? - Henley Business School Finland

How can you be a better coach in managing personal data?

Coaches setting up or having a coaching business often focus most on the coaching process, upgrading their skills or obtaining coach accreditation. But business considerations are just as important. These include deciding which coaching niche to focus on, arranging professional indemnity insurance and addressing basic business management issues, such as regulatory and legislative compliance.

In this webinar, three experts explore the EU’s Data Protection regulations, and the practical implications for coaches. What do the EU regulations require us to do? What type of notes should you take? What should you do with personal data at the end of a coaching assignment? What should you do in 2021 to ensure compliant and ethical code?

Professor Jonathan Passmore, Kevin Rogers and Eija Warma-Lehtinen share their perspectives on how coaches can enhance their awareness of the EU directive on data protection and put in place appropriate policies to ensure the legal compliance to gather, store, process and delete the personal data of their clients and potential clients. The session will include reference to the ICF coach competency 1 regarding the importance of ethical practice and focus on examples from two national case studies in the UK and Finland as examples of how different states have implemented these regulations.

This webinar is free of charge.
