Company visit – Fingrid Oyj, the Finnish Transmission System Operator

The AGM is followed by an introduction to Hydrogen, Wind and Solar power – why is Finland now attractive for investments presented by Fingrid Oyj’s CEO Jukka Ruusunen and Customer Manager Jarno Sederlund.

Finland is aiming for climate neutrality by 2035 in order to slow down climate change. At the same time, electricity consumption and electricity dependence are on the rise. What are Finland’s strengths for future investments as we are transforming to a climate neutral country by 2035? Why are hydrogen investments of interest? How much room is there for wind and solar power?

Fingrid is building a platform for a clean electricity system and thus supporting Finland’s transition to climate neutrality.
