Season's Greetings 2018 - Henley Business School Finland

Dear alumni and friends,

Before everyone leaves for the holidays, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation and business throughout the year.

You have made 2018 a remarkable year for us. The Henley Executive MBA was again the highest ranked Executive MBA programme in Finland, both by the Financial Times and The Economist. And, Henley Business School also remained one of the leading Executive Education providers located in the Nordics, with particular success for its open programmes highlighted no. 1 in the Nordics.

With 33 graduates Henley Finland had the largest group of students ever graduating from the Henley Executive MBA, and during this year we also had the opportunity to start and continue many exciting Executive Education programmes with Finnish corporate clients.

In 2018, Henley Business School also achieved another milestone with the launch of our online social network Henley Live. We are now offering our alumni community an outstanding platform for networking and development, which only strengthens our position as no.1 for the best potential to network in the world.

Looking ahead, we are excited to launch the first university-level coaching degree in Finland during spring 2019. The Henley Professional Certificate in Coaching will appeal to anyone who wishes to develop personal coaching skills, either from within their organisation or as an external provider.

We wish you a happy holiday season and a successful start into the new year, and we look forward to continue our cooperation with you during 2019!

Increasing the wellbeing of children and families in Finland

SOS Children’s Villages Finland provides services to enhance the wellbeing of children, youth and families as well as to support local municipalities. As a result, more vulnerable children and youth are well and succeed in life when grown up, plus the number of children and families in need of welfare services and cross-generational ill-being is reduced.

SOS Children’s Villages Finland has developed together with the city of Varkaus a model for sustainably renewing child and family services. The model, based on extensive research, is currently implemented and will result in increased family wellbeing and cost savings of 20% within 5 years.

This year, we are supporting the work of SOS Children’s Villages to help more children in Finland growing up in a loving home, feeling respected and safe.
