Webinar - Seriously, What's Next? The Megatrends You Need to Watch - Henley Business School Finland

Henley Partnership: Webinar – Seriously, what’s next? The megatrends you need to watch

“Megatrends are powerful, transformative forces that could change the global economy, business and society – have been changing the way we live for centuries. Think electricity, automobile, the Internet.”

– Exclusive to Henley Partnership members –

We entered a global pandemic in February 2020, and the world had to adapt to its impact – both in terms of health of the population and the economic growth from the impact of businesses suffering . However, during adaptation to COVID-19 and the world changing track, we also saw major influences continue to march on – these are called megatrends. According to global investment bank Black Rock, “Megatrends are powerful, transformative forces that could change the global economy, business and society – have been changing the way we live for centuries. Think electricity, automobile, the Internet.”

According to EY, some examples of what megatrends lie ahead for us are:

  • Human AI augmentation
  • Gen Z leaders
  • Hybrid work life
  • Ethical capitalism
  • Open and distributed work

In this session we will unpack some of these and consider the impact and influence they have on us all. We will consider the leadership styles that will enable us to meet the challenges these megatrends bring.

“Technologies such as human AI augmentation are as transformative and impactful as the personal computer and leaders need to better understand the impact of it, as this megatrend is well on its way”

Richard Foster-Fletcher, Digital Strategist and Founder of NeuralPath.io

Who should attend?

This session is for anyone who is interested in knowing what lies ahead for organisations and what kind of skills and mindsets are needed.
