BusinessClass 26.10.2017: Who do you trust?

Noise. Speed. Complexity. Our operational environment is in the grip of fierce transformation.

Technology has not made it easier for organisations to conduct a dialogue with their stakeholders. On the contrary, the world of corporate communications has never been more demanding. Building reputation and trust has changed from a fringe activity to a core operation of business management.

Welcome to a very special event on 26 October 2017, starting at 8:30 at Hotel Lilla Roberts, Pieni Roobertinkatu 1-3, Helsinki!

Henley Business School and T-Media now join forces to provide you with tools to manage the transformation around us:

Professor Kevin Money of Henley Business School, UK, will outline how trust links to reputation and how social media is shifting the world away from being company-centric towards being people-centric. He will finish with some lessons for how companies and people can build stronger, more trusting relationships.

T-Mediaโ€™s CEO, Harri Leinikka will be revealing the correlation between trust and willingness to buy or recommend an organisations products and services. In other words, he will be quantifying the significance of trust to business success.

Pia Aaltonen-Forsell is CFO of Outokumpu, the largest stainless steal producer in Europe. She does not have the most obvious background for a CFO: she is Master of Social Sciences in economics. She thinks that her background is a great asset, since as a CFO you need to understand the economy in general, not just business.ย
