Boardroom Skills programme - Henley Business School Finland

Webinar: Boardroom Skills information meeting

Henley Business School is bringing a world-class boardroom skills programme for board professionals and management team members to Finland!

The 2.5-day Boardroom Skills programme, delivered by Professor Andrew Kakabadse, will give you a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to become an effective board member and equip you with the skills and knowledge to create high-performing boards in global and complex environments.

During the programme, participants will work on real cases and benefit from Professor Kakabadseโ€™s extensive experience and knowledge of board behaviour globally providing them with additional insight into their own board scenarios.

In the November 2021 intake our two new guest speakers, Kaisa Hietala and Jan Gustaffson, will also share their industry insights and experiences about sustainability in the boardroom as well as board member search and selection.

The Boardroom Skills programme is for current board members, individuals who have ambitions of becoming a board professional, or who work with boards including management team members and company secretaries.

Join our information webinar to receive detailed information about the programme and to ask any questions you might have concerning the studies!

Many companies and investors are embracing the idea that business should be responsible. However, this is controversial for many reasons. In this MasterClass, Alex Edmans, Professor of Finance at London Business School, will talk about what exactly is a purposeful business and if there is a trade-off between purpose and profit, or if it is possible for companies to achieve both. In addition, Noora Salonoja, CEO and Partner of TouchPoint, will give an example of purposeful business in the textile industry.
