London Drinks - Henley Business School

London 3rd Wednesday Drinks – online edition

Date: 15 July 2020

Google Hangouts

Time: 21:00 - 22:30

As a result of the continuing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on the current working patterns of our alumni in the UK, we have taken the decision to cancel our London Drinks in person this month. However, please join us virtually this month for great conversation and to widen your network!

Pour yourself a beer, wine, tea or tipple of your choice then join us for an informal get together, a pop-up discussion and guest speakers.

The global pandemic has caused massive disruption to health, personal lives and careers. We are facing masses of redundancies in leading corporates like British Airways (12,000), bp (10,000), Centrica (5,000), HSBC (35,000), and over 22,000 Retail stores are to close and millions of SMEs and individuals being affected.

This discussion will consider how people and organisations can change. Contributors to the discussion will be Naeema Pasha, Graham Philpott and Andrew Gaule with key insights and value coming from our interaction as a community with your questions and perspectives.

We will have time to discuss very current issues that we are facing as people, businesses and society. There will be introductions, topic, discussion and ‘networking’.

Please register beforehand to receive a Google Hangouts link to the meeting.

Dr Naeema Pasha, Director of Careers & Professional Development at Henley Business School

Graham Philpott, Career advisor working a project related to ‘Skills led recovery’.

Andrew Gaule, CEO Aimava, Chair of Business and Technology SIG and Henley Business Angels (board member representative)
